Awesome and now my voice is raw.

Now back to feed my Castle obssesion. Although considering the stares I got on the train from just reading an English book, maybe I should consider removing the dustjacket of Naked Heat...
Yesterday, the salaryman next to me started was reading an intermediate English textbook. I couldn't bring myself to pull out Galileo. My outer appearance being what it is, it totally would have looked like I was rubbing English superiority in his face. Especially since it was right after a Japanese coworker told another one who was surprised at my Japanese, "It's better not to think of her as an American; you'll get confused."
Such is life. Onto Castle!

My commuter pass expired so I had to get a new one. Expensive but nowhere near the cost of riding the train without it. Also added Nagoya to the pass, saving me an additional amount of over the equivalent of $200 over 6 months.
In other news, I forgot Galileo at home. I only have 20ish pages left! The most emotional part so I guess I may as well finish it at home.
Also, feeling not so hot after waking up from a nightmare. Won't go into details, but it sucked.
Alrighties, going to listen to some Masha to lift my spirits.

So far, it's a good read. Plus it doesn't make me feel like I'm reading a translation. Totally plan on recommending it to my high level people.
I hope they do the first two short story collections and the rest of the series too.
And to anyone who has seen the Masha TV series:
There's a lot that's different. Number one being Yukawa's partner is Kusanagi, Kaoru's sempai in the TV series. Kaoru supposedly makes her appearance from the third short story collection. Still need to read that. (Also in the third novel, I've heard there is a Bones reference. Rock!)
I would write more but my thumb is getting sore...

During an important meeting when an OL asked people in turn, "Would you like something to drink?"
While others made various orders, "coffee" "I'll have tea"
he said "Dada'll have coffee".
Even if he's called Papa at home...Dada?
Hmm, will have to work on this one.

New actors are doing their best so「Kabuki appreciation class」 has appeal in its own right, but in the end I must recommend 「from real, legitimate」.
-堀越一寿 from 「大向こうの堀越さん。」
Will check names when later.

-from 「Today's darling」
Starting something new. I've fallen out of translation for a bit so I thought I'd pick it up again.
My planner has quotes at the bottom of each day. Quotables tend to be short and use everyday language which make them deceptively difficult. I'm up for a challenge.
30 days. I'll do everything I can to translate the daily quote for 30 days. If it works, I'll keep going. I bought the same planner for next year months ago.
Feel free to question and critique. Like vlogging every day, this is quantity over quality. Though I must admit, fantastic quote to start off. I swear, it's pure coincidence. Sign from the universe.

Yeah, I'm in one of *those* moods.
I need to watch something epic. Kill shot is Monday, but I need something to hold me over.
Got Fringe tonight, but as much as I love Peter Bishop, still not enough. Maybe I need the Hero of Canton. Because just flying ain't much, but it's enough. Burn the land and boil the sea. You can't take the sky from me. Big damn heroes aiming to misbehave.

It is now nighttime when I leave for work and it proves I *am* a night owl. I'm totally more willing to deal with the morning shift now than I was about a month ago when it was just a bit light and I was whining about how dark it was getting. Now, it's like, "Bring it."
Also realized that with the cold air and lack of people, I can hear the subway approach and leave the station before mine. It's kinda cool. Its roar grows as nears my station and when it turns the corner, its lights reflect off the tunnel walls and grow brighter like the coming dawn. (Am listening to DOES, doa and the Umineko OP right now. My MP3 player always did have awesome random song order. And now it's Mori Shinichi! Sweet! The 2003 Kohaku performance of this song was epic.)

So now I'm off to Meikei to buy tix for tomorrow's movie. And then to Tokoname to play with molten glass. Then back to the house for parfaits!!!
I have plans to post a vlog and have started filming clips, but yeah, that means I need to edit them together, so who knows when it will go up.
Oh yeah, and Boston folk might recognize the pom-poms in the pic. The white hat is back!

It feels like night time, especially with the clouds hiding the breaking dawn. Kinda weird knowing the sky is going to be completely different when I get out of the Sakae underground.
Another late night. Considering my plans for Wednesday (Moneyball, Tokoname, parfait party), I think I'll be crashing on Thursday and sleeping whether I want to or not.

All's well that ends well?
Having done this before, I knew I'd make it, but I'd really like to avoid ever doing it again.
Going to Cats Cafe for breakfast. Need food. Want muffin.

The Bad: Since the night before was two hours, I've had a total of 6 hours of sleep in the last 24 hours.
The Ugly: Got a 7am tomorrow. AND there's no Castle this week! That's the biggest crime of all.
My eyes are burning.
But I am awake and my day is pretty full so right now it's just about survival.
Random thought of the morning, I'm scrapping the idea to go to Kyoto to fight the crowd. Going for some thing a bit more local. If I don't just pass out first.

In other news, the only thing in my stomch today so far are two-thirds of a chocolate danish and two cans of coffee. Couple that with two hours of sleep...
I'm running on caffeine and sugar. Oh, and Altoids. Which, btw, now contain blue food coloring after production moved from the UK to Tennesse.
I can't believe I haven't crashed yet.
Okay, home to work on the reason I got 2 hours of sleep. *sigh/moan*
Ooh! Fringe! *squee*
